The Thoreau Cabin Workshop Series is underway! For the bicentennial anniversary of Henry David Thoreau's birth, we are constructing a cabin replicating his tiny house on the banks of Walden Pond. On October 15 & 16, from 8am to 4pm, we'll start preparing the site up near Racey Pond for construction. You can adopt this as a family project with your teenagers (aged 12 and up with participating adult), if you like. Dress for the weather with sturdy footgear, gloves, water and a substantial lunch.
