FREE HALLOWEEN GALLERY TALKS AND A CAPPELLA MUSIC
SCHEDULED AT CLARK ART INSTITUTE; KIDS’ COSTUMES WELCOME!
Ghosts and gore are the topics of four free gallery talks at the Clark Art Institute scheduled for Saturday, October 31 at 11 am, 12 pm, 2 pm, and 3 pm in the permanent collection galleries. In half-hour discussions, Clark curators and staff members explore ghoulish or eerie works such as Auguste Rodin’s sculpture entitled Man with Serpent.
Ephoria, an all-women’s a cappella group from Williams College, performs in costume at 1 pm in the lower lobby of the Clark Center. The singers draw from many genres of music, including rock, country, pop, and jazz.
Kids of all ages are welcome to come in costume (accessories such as swords are not permitted in the galleries) and will be offered special Halloween treats. For more information: visit clarkart.edu or (413) 458-2303.
