DESCRIPTION:The Bennington Oral Health Coalition offers the second Train the Trainer program.  You do not need to be a health professional to attend\, just have an interest to improve the oral health of our community.\n\n \nThe curriculum is expanded to include middle and high school student's topics of interest. These power point presentations are being developed by Southern VT College senior nursing students under supervision of Wanda Franklin\, BSN PhD. Below is a sample of the topics:\n\n1.       Lip and tongue piercings and impact on oral health \n\n2.       Tobacco and drug use and oral health \n\n3.       Cosmetic dentistry veneers\, whitening\, etc. \n\n4.       Restorative work\, root canals\, implants\, bridges\, implants\, what are they and why? \n\n5.       Cardiac health and the oral health relationship \n\n6.       Gum/candy oral health impact\, is there a good gum or candy? \n\n7.       Relationships\, sharing oral bacteria\; bad breath causes and cures and how to talk to someone about it \n\n8.       and more....
