DESCRIPTION:The Bennington County Industrial Corp and the Vermont Small Business Development Center are  pleased to be hosting a " Start your Own Brewery and Distillery Seminar" on January 28th from 4:00-6:00. The event will take place at the Tap House at Catamount Glass 309 County St \, located at the Four Corners North in Downtown Bennington. There will also be a Bennington County Home Brewers meeting immediately after the seminar.\n\n \n\n" This is a very timely seminar as we are seeing significant momentum in the beer and spirits space in Bennington County"\, said BCIC Executive Director Peter Odierna. "We had a very successful Home Brewers Competition this summer and that has afforded us a great list of local home brewers. A number of those brewers are now looking at taking their hobby to the next level and open a local brewery to capitalize on the growing popularity of craft beverages".\n\n \n\n"The VT Small Business Development Center is excited about supporting this seminar"\, said SBDC Director of Agribusiness Steve Paddock. " Bennington County Counselor\, Brian De Clue and Craft Beverage Specialist \,Charlie Ininger will be attending to provide technical advice".  We are delighted that Spirits of Old Bennington\, Northshire Brewery and  Madison's Brew Pub will be available of offer insights and advice based on their experience in this emerging space.  The event is free and open to the public.
