DESCRIPTION:The Clark Art Institute's popular Family Day returns Sunday\, July 26. \n\n \n\nFamily Day celebrates the exhibition Van Gogh and Nature\, on view at the Clark through September 13. Activities for all ages include making a terrarium\, butterfly house\, and sunflowers\; drawing with various materials\; participating in a group mural of Starry Night\; and exploring a live butterfly tent. Visitors can also peruse a Provence-inspired flower market and watch a demonstration of plein air painting. \n\n \n\nIn a nod to the outdoor installation Thomas Sch tte: Crystal\, try navigating a mirror maze or pay homage to Whistler's Mother by posing like the subject of the famous portrait. \n\n \n\nThe jazz band Kris Allen Quartet performs at 11:30 am and 1:30 pm\, and Berkshire Dance Theater performs at 12:30 pm and 2:30 pm. Food will be available for purchase from a variety of vendors\, including Hot Tomatoes Pizza\, Starr Cr perie\, Starr Grill\, A-Frame Bakery\, and Lickety Split Ice Cream.\n\n \n\nThis program is supported by funding from the officers and employees of Allen & Company\, Inc.
