DESCRIPTION:Like any respectable zombie\, Vermont Arts Exchange's (VAE) annual Halloween Parade refuses to die! Join us at our new location at 48 Main Street in North Bennington on Friday October 30th as we celebrate 23 years of spooky\, spirited\, festive family fun. Participants will gather at the new VAE's parking lot beginning at 3:30 while the parade steps off at 4pm. All are welcome to join the fun as a marcher or to ooh\, aah and clap from the sidelines. \n\n \n\nThis annual tradition has become a local must see as infants to adults break out their Halloween best\, showing off major costume making skills to be in the running for new VAE parade trophies! Marchers\, monsters\, artists\, musicians\, dancers\, drummers\, jugglers\, friends and neighbors of all ages dress up and promenade through town\, accompanied by music (bring your instruments and join the band!)\, dancing and large sculptural costumes. A fall favorite for over two decades\, this wildly popular event has drawn hundreds of participants and visitors each year. \n\n \n\nParticipants gather at VAE's new location at 48 Main Street\, next to the Post Office\, before meandering through the village of North Bennington\, ending at Lion's Park for prizes\, a bonfire\, concession stand and Buy Pie Saleto benefit VAE. Revelers of all ages are invited to compete in a Halloween Costume Contest\, with several prizes awarded for imaginative ensembles.  Plan to hang out!
