Saturday, November 28th
Throughout businesses in the Downtown area
When the holiday season rolls around we all hold fast to personal sentiments that make the season so special to each one of us. Since our most cherished memories are the times we’ve spent with our families, friends, and neighbors, we invite you to enjoy an afternoon with us as downtown Bennington joins communities throughout the country in celebration of “Small Business Saturday” on November 28th.
It’s a day to reconnect with our community and enjoy the sights sounds of the season with strolling carolers, holiday decorated streets, live performances, and in-store activities and specials. It’s also the perfect day to support our locally owned businesses that do so much to support our community.
Small Business Saturday, or as we call it locally, “Our Hometown Holiday”, will be as much of a holiday tradition for your family as going to the mall on Black Friday. You’ll discover the hidden treasures that can’t be found in a mall, while catching up with old friends as you amble between the bookshop, confectioners, country store, bakery, florist, clothiers, galleries and antique shops.
You can enjoy strolling carolers, street decorations, special performances free gift wrapping, hot chocolate, homemade treats, and more throughout the day.
