Enjoy the wonderful community-created displays that have been inspired by items from the museum's collection that are rarely on view.
$3 Admission for everyone (Even Santa) Children who bring a personal care item for adults or children are admitted FREE.
Children can visit with Santa anytime between 1 and 3 pm
Holiday-themed crafts, and wonderful tabletop trees created by local school children.
(Some activities require a small additional fee, up to $4, but many are free!)
Will Moses will be at the museum from 11am to 1pm for a book signing
Any time during the day, children ages 4 to 12 can shop in the Children's Shopping Boutique that offers unusual gifts for all people on their list. Prices range from $1 to $7 and that includes gift wrapping."Shoppers Helpers" can assist the young people make their selection, so the grown-ups can enjoy a cup of coffee or tea, or do some of their own shopping in the Museum Gift Shop which offers Vermont artisan and one-of-a-kind items. What a wonderful way to help the children enjoy the spirit of giving!
Remember to visit the Children's Forest! Students from classrooms in Bennington, Shaftsbury, Woodford, North Bennington, and Pownal have worked hard to decorate miniature trees that are on display. For $1, you can purchase a chance to win the tree of your choice. Winners will be drawn and notified on Tuesday, December 16.
